Forseen water management development in the Republic of Serbia, caracterised by development of more complex systems and more complex integral water management, cannot be realised without operating water management information system (WMIS).
WMIS structure is defined on basis of funcitons and categories of logically connected information:

Monitoring and evaluation of natural built resources;

Planing, strategical management and designing of water management systems and objects.
